Level 1
For those who have completed a beginner course or have had at least 6 months experience in the Iyengar method. As a level 1 student you will experience the practice of Yoga as a form of physical exercise that challenges and refines your flexibility, strength and balance. A series of primary postures will be taught, making frequent use of props to help you work in a range of motion that is safe and effective for you. Learning how to do this will increase your body awareness. You will learn to control your breathing in a relaxed and modified way in order to provide focus in the different postures. These classes will prepare you for attending Level 2 classes.
