Pranayama Classes are for students with six months to one year of consistent Iyengar practice.
Familiarity with the use of props is essential.
Both supine and seated pranayama are taught.
Pranayama is the practice of conscious breath regulation.
In Sanskrit, “prana” means life energy, and “yama” means control.
Pranayama involves breathing exercises and patterns.
